Senior Mechanical Project Manager

Their clients included: Galliford Try, British Land, Mace and Sir Robert McAlpine, to name a few.\nRole: Senior Mechanical Project Manager - Leicester - £80,000 to £100,000 or Day Rate Equivalent\nProject is a new build prison circa £18M MEP, which will run over an 80 week programme.\nDuties include:\n * Tender review/validation\n * Preconstruction stages\n * Design Management (reviewing design liaising with client, main contractor and consultants)\n * Procurement of subcontractors, kit and plant\n * Technical submittals\n * RFIs – Liaison with client team, main contractor and sub contractors\n * Value Engineering where applicable\n * Programming of works – using MS Project or Asta project\n * Health & Safety management (RAMs)\n * Commercial Responsibility, assisting with sub contractor variation accounts working alongside project specific Quantity Survey.\n * Management of variations\n * Team Coordination (overseeing junior engineers, construction managers and supervisors)\n * Progress meetings with sub contractors, client and internal meetings\n * Overseeing commissioning stages\n * Formulation of OM Manuals and client handover\nThe ideal candidate:\n * Experience managing projects to a minimum of £5m within your own discipline\n * A minimum 5 years’ experience in a management role\nIn return they offer:\n * A healthy pipeline of work\n * Join a stable business who have an excellent staff attrition rate.\n * A competitive salary and package
