This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a highly regulated, critical environment where reliability, compliance, and operational excellence are essential to site performance.\n🔧 What you’ll be doing:\n🛠️ Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across mechanical and building services systems\n🌬️ Maintaining and repairing HVAC systems, pumps, pipework, pressurised systems, and associated mechanical plant\n🔍 Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective root cause analysis to minimise downtime\n⚙️ Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of critical mechanical infrastructure\n📋 Completing maintenance records, compliance documentation, and reports accurately\n🦺 Working in line with GMP standards, health & safety regulations, and site procedures\n📈 Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and energy efficiency\n🤝 Working closely with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and the wider engineering team to maintain service excellence\n📊 Supporting contractual KPIs and service delivery standards\n✅ Maintaining high standards of workmanship, professionalism, and customer service at all times\n👷‍♂️ What we’re looking for:\n🔹 Mechanical Engineering qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship, or equivalent)\n🔹 Experience within Facilities Management, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Life Sciences, or other regulated environments\n🔹 Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, pumps, pipework, pressurised systems, and mechanical building services\n🔹 Proven experience delivering both planned and reactive maintenance\n🔹 Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities\n🔹 Strong understanding of health & safety and statutory compliance requirements\n🔹 Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, critical environment\n🔹 Good communication and stakeholder management skills\n🔹 Proactive and customer-focused approach to service delivery\n⭐ Desirable:\n✅ Experience working within GMP-controlled environments\n✅ Knowledge of pharmaceutical compliance requirements\n✅ Experience using CAFM systems\n✅ IOSH or equivalent health & safety qualification\n✅ Experience supporting energy efficiency and continuous improvement projects\n✅ Experience working on critical infrastructure and business-critical systems\n💼 What’s on offer:\n💷 £50,000 salary\n💊 Opportunity to work on a high-profile Pharmaceutical contract\n🏢 Permanent position with a leading UK Facilities Management provider\n📅 Continental Shift Pattern:\n• 2 Days On / 2 Days Off\n• 3 Days On / 3 Days Off\n📈 Excellent career progression opportunities\n🎓 Ongoing training and professional development\n⚙️ Exposure to a highly regulated, technically challenging environment\n🔒 Stable, long-term contract\n🎁 Comprehensive benefits package\n🤝 Supportive and professional working environment\n🔧 If you're a skilled Mechanical Engineer looking to develop your career within a critical pharmaceutical environment, we'd love to hear from you
