Job Title: Fire & Security Multi-Skilled Engineer\n\nLocation: Covering a 1-hour radius of Petersfield\n\nSalary: Up to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications)\n\nJob Type: Full-Time, Permanent\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe are seeking a fully qualified Fire & Security Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, fault-finding, and repair of a range of fire and security systems across commercial, industrial, and residential sites within approximately one hour of Petersfield.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to work in a varied role with a strong focus on quality workmanship, customer service, and technical excellence.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nService, maintain, fault-find, and repair:\n\nIntruder alarm systems\n\nCCTV systems (IP and analogue)\n\nAccess control systems\n\nFire alarm systems\n\nEmergency lighting systems\n\nCarry out small works and system upgrades where required.\n\nComplete all documentation accurately and in a timely manner.\n\nEnsure compliance with current industry standards and regulations.\n\nProvide excellent customer service and technical support to clients.\n\nParticipate in the on-call rota where applicable.\n\nMaintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment to a professional standard.\n\nEssential Requirements\n\nProven experience as a Fire & Security Engineer.\n\nStrong knowledge of:\n\nIntruder alarms\n\nCCTV\n\nAccess control\n\nFire alarm systems\n\nExperience with leading manufacturers such as:\n\nTexecom\n\nPyronix\n\nHikvision\n\nPaxton\n\nAdvanced\n\nKentec\n\nFull UK driving licence.\n\nAbility to work independently and manage your own workload.\n\nStrong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.\n\nExcellent communication and customer-facing skills.\n\nDesirable Qualifications\n\n * FIA qualifications.\n\n * Relevant fire alarm training and certification.\n\n * ECS/CSCS card.\n\n * IPAF and/or PASMA certification.\n\n * Manufacturer-specific training certificates.\n\nWhat We Offer\n\n * Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience and qualifications.\n\n * Company vehicle for business use.\n\n * Mobile phone and tablet.\n\n * Overtime opportunities.\n\n * Ongoing training and professional development.\n\n * Pension scheme.\n\n * Paid holiday entitlement.\n\n * Career progression opportunities within a growing business.\n\nIdeal Candidate\n\nYou will be a fully qualified Fire & Security Engineer with a strong background in security systems and a good working knowledge of fire alarm systems.
